Each flower must be pollinated by hand within hours of blooming, or the flower withers and falls off. The Vanilla bean takes approximately eight months to mature before the finest of the pods are harvested by hand. After harvest the beans go through a 100% natural curing process which takes four months to achieve, in order to impart it’s unique texture and flavour and aroma.
